Hmm taken me a while to consider how best to put this in writing so here goes. I've just finished the new Drizzt novel, The Thousand Orcs. Anyone else managed to read it yet? If not may I suggest you simply read R.A. Salvatore's first trilogy Icewind Dale at least that way you can get an idea of how good he used to be before relying on Deus Ex Machina and several other tired old plot devices to finish the book. Of course being the type of person I am I'll still get the rest of the series so its complete. Still quite a let down from an author I really used to enjoy.
