Well first a retraction it seems that Micheal Caine and not Anthony Hopkins will be playing Alfred in the new batman movie, frankly I don't really care whos in it as long as they shoot Joel Schumacher Dead if he trys to get within 20 feet of this movie. Mainly due to this ass going on record as saying he was trying to get the last two films to be more like the 60s TV series. Gee wonder why they sucked so much?????? Mmm bit a mystery that one.
Lobo is going to be made into a PG-13 film for those who aren't really familiar with the USA rating system it means this film will be close to our own G-PG rating so violence but no blood and very little bad language. I wonder have the people who are making this have ever read a Lobo comic bad language is all that seems to spew from the characters mouth.
Indiana 4 is in pre production sweet.
and finally for all of us going to see ROTK and if not why not there will be a teaser trailer for the new Spiderman movie. Hopefully Doc Ock won't have the bowl cut and pot belly of the comics, frankly how can you take a supervillian seriously when he has hair like that. Of course like I can talk about hair much :)

Well it seems that Lucas not being content with ruining parts of the Indiana movies? What am I talking about? Well I happen to have a copy of Raiders on video which I got several years ago when maccas was running a special deal on them. Anyone remember that? Anyway compare the temple in the opening sequence it looks more a pleasant spot to take a holiday than a creepy ass temple full of booby traps.
Anyway back to my original point just posted today on several sites a possible list of changes that will be made to the Star Wars (Original Trilogy) DVD release. Been spinning around in my head and idea I've had for a while so I thought I'd commit to my blog and see what reaction I get.
Next year will be my final year at uni so I thought I'd celebrate my hard slog by travelling a bit I was thinking about going overseas budget permitting , failing that I was thinking about going to Tassie. Basically grabbing the ferry from Syd and then travelling back via Melb. If this is the case I was wondering if anyone would care to join me on this little jaunt it won't be till the end of next year so just ponder for now and let me know.

Steve Martin is to be the new inspector Clouseau in the Birth of the Pink Panther mmmmmm not sure how well this one is going to be.
Highlander 5????? make it stop,make it stop.
Why is the rum gone? Pirates of the Caribbean has two sequels in the pipeline with Geoffrey Rush to star in at least one of them, no word about Orlando Bloom or Johnny Depp.
Farscape fans it looks like the series will be wrapped up in several new eps to be filmed at some point,only prob with this rumour that I can see is that they pulled the farscape sets apart when the series was cancelled.
Mmm Dungeon Seige the movie I haven't played the game myself anyone care to give me an FYI on it?

Out out you demons of stupidity
Fuck me had an exam on Friday afternoon, or rather I should say the uni had a massive fuck up on friday.
The unit STAT 100 statistical anylsis for the sciences.
The problem formula sheets and statistical tables are supposed to be provided.
As most of you will know math has always been my weakest subject, frankly I suck big time at it and it takes a lot of work to even manage a pass in any math units, so suffice to say my stress level was already up without this fuck up to make it worse. First the examiners apologised for it and sent a runner to the faculty to see what was going on. The runner comes back "Attention stat students we are sorry about this but the tables and sheets will not be coming(General murmuring pretty much along the lines of what the fuck!!) we are sorry look just do the best you can and we will find out what the faculty is going to do about it. Then the lecturer comes in and says the same thing along with, and I love how he said this, look you don't need the formulas to complete the exams so just do what you can and we will mark you without bias. I nearly yelled across the room Mate did you even play any part in the setting of this exam?? Also I loved how he all told us to put our heads down, how he managed to avoid saying bums up amazed me, really let me know what he felt about his students amazing how the throw away comments really let you look at someone views you.
So anyway most of the class did the minimum required 1 hour and then walked out hopefully to do what I will be doing monday morning filing an offical complaint over this. Fucking hell not only do I have to pay for this fucking privilege I have to put up with monumental fucks up like this

Finally back online and before I hear an another ADSL vs Dial up argument the little snafu this week affected both.
Now onto the serious stuff, has anyone gotten a copy of Temple of Elemental evil? if you haven't for the love of god DON'T a patch for the game would be nice for starters along with a plot perhaps a storyline. Nah I'm probably expecting to much. I guess bioware and black isle spoiled us all with Baldurs gate and NWN. Where do we gamers get off on needing all those fancy things like plot and enjoyment in a game, just turn up at the store take it off the shelf and hand over your money.

You're in Florida. In Miami, to be exact. There is a huge chaos going on around you, caused by a hurricane and all the flooding. There are huge masses of water all over you. You are a CNN photographer and you are in the middle of this great disaster.
The situation is nearly hopeless. You're trying to shoot very impressive photos. There are houses and people floating around you, disappearing into the water masses. The nature is showing all its destroying power and is ripping everything away with it.
Suddenly you see a man, steering a big van. He is fighting for his life, trying not to be taken away by the masses of water and mud. You move closer. Somehow the man looks familiar and important.
Suddenly you know who it is - it's George W. Bush! At the same time you notice that the raging waters are about to take him away, forever. You have two options - you can save him or you can take the best photo of your life and career.
So you can save the life of George W. Bush, or you can shoot a Pulitzer prize winning photo. A photo displaying the death of a very powerful man. And here's the question (Please give an honest answer):

Anyone been watching the news lately? If you have, have you noticed the increasing numbers of anti labour state govt. stories that are popping up more and more frequently I realise its easier to report on the incumbent government rather than the opposition. But I got to thinking Bob Carr has gone on public record as saying he won't even consider standing for a federal seat until sometime in 2007. But would his opinion change if he was no longer premier? Now reconsider my original statement about the increase in news stories lately.
I'll vote greens or independent like I always do but it is something to consider how the general public are manipulated by the mass media.

Mmmm not sure about this one it would be possible to take this shot with a high speed camera and the right film but I think its just a photoshop job instead(ORSM)
