Feeling numb I know its supposed to take a month for these things to work but I am feeling a little better able to climb out of this black hole I felt myself sliding into. Better living through chemistry.

Under the category of all good things must end

But then again these guys haven't been "good" for quite some time and for me I'll always take my hat off to FASA for showing how to bow out gracefully when the time comes to close up shop.

More shots of Esperance lucky bay at Le Grande national park.

One of the hundred or so islands around the area.

The beach at the national park this was about 100 metres from our camp site.

The same beach at sunset should I have the resources to do so I will be buying land/house/flat in the area as it is so amazing there.
Hmm a parody of a parody so does that make ironic parody or rhetorical?

Funny cause its probably true seeing as how the new shadowrun game is windows vista/xbox 360 exclusive starting to see a monopoly forming... I mean pattern yeah thats what I meant.

The nullabor I took this shot from the car as we were driving yes thats the ocean you can see back there that was pretty cool to see. I was expecting the road to have some desert along the way but the seeing the ocean was not something I was expecting.

The bite wind and water erosion K1 and I walked down to the shoreline at one point to have a look around.

Me on the bite the wind never stopped blowing. We camped here overnight never seen so many stars so clearly ever unfortunately none of the pics we took of the night sky turned out bugger.

K1 on the beach at Esperance. We were back in mobile phone range so we both tended to look like this for a hour or so once our phones started to work again. We took a lot of shots of this area so there will be more of them but if you are wondering yes the water was that blue around the entire area and yeah the sand was that white.

Heres me near the top of a mountain on our first day, I had to stop before I managed to throw up and pass out at the same time I believe we walked about 18-20km that day.
Heres K1 having a look around the broken hill area. The various rocks you can see in the background are sculptures done by local and international artists.
The effect of wind erosion in Lake Mungo National park they do get some rain but not enough to cause this. The photos we took of this place really do not do it justice and as much as I dislike the cliche you really have to be there to appreciate it.
Our Camp site at Mildura at this point it had been quite a while since either of us had seen any water so lots of pics of this place.
Well today was very interesting ran into J's mother who told me that J is flying back from england in August permenantly also hes attempting to enter medical school as hes had enough of IT. He'll be coming back to Tamworth for a while until he has his plans finalised.

And this is what the car looked like at the end of the trip
On the right is what had packed into the car.

I think we did quite well to fit all this plus ourselves into a car which buckets compared to being similar in size to a porta loo on wheels.

More shots to follow but my impressions of Perth, everyone was telling me how beautiful it was before I left and I must agree it was a lovely place but K1 and I had seen so many amazing sights on the way over that Perth and Rottnest island were somewhat anti-climatic. At least I found it to be so.
Things I liked about Perth the public transport system and the clean air after I hopped off the plane in Sydney I could smell the difference the second they cracked the hatch open on the plane.
Things I didn't like the tap water, first time I've drunk water from a tap that had a texture to it. When you are over there you'll have to try it to believe it.

So much more to see in that state though so I'll be going back and hopefully if I can convince a few more people to come with me and if so it might be worth our while to head to the coral coast and go swimming with the whale sharks at Ningaloo reef among other things to be done up there.

Ok photo time This is what the car looked like as we left

Friday, May 12

Back in NSW still not home stopped off in newie overnight to see English rose and if I can catch up with Lowman and K2 so much the better.

Been gone 5 weeks by the time I return to Tamworth seen many many things, had a lot of fun and really had to force myself to come back. It was so tempting to just stay there and leave all the pain and bullshit behind me on the east coast. But I couldn't I have to see this out to the end whatever that may be.

Will post some pics and a few memorable moments of the trip including the trip to rottnest island that I took with GI and K1 :)

Should be back in Tamworth on Saturday fingers crossed
