Hey Lowman something for you to salivate over
Wednesday, January 28
An officer in the U.S. Naval Reserve was attending a conference that included admirals from both the U.S. Navy and the French Navy. At a cocktail reception, he found himself in a small group that included personnel from both navies.
The French Admiral started complaining that whereas Europeans learned many languages, Americans learned only English. He then asked, "Why is it that we have to speak English in these conferences rather than you speak French?"
Without hesitating, the American Admiral replied: "Maybe it is because the Brits, Canadians, Aussies, and Americans arranged it so you would not have to speak German." The group became silent.
There was an engineer, manager, and a programmer driving down a steep mountain road. The brakes failed and the car careened down the road out of control. Half way down the driver managed to stop the car by running it against the embankment narrowly avoiding careening off the cliff. They all got out, shaken by their narrow escape from death, but otherwise unharmed.
The manager said, "To fix this problem we need to organize a committee, have meetings, and through process of continuous improvement, develop a solution."
The engineer said, "No that would take too long, besides that method never worked before. I have my trusty pen knife here and will take apart the brake system, isolate the problem and correct it."
The programmer said, "I think your both wrong! I think we should all push the car back up the hill and see if it happens again."

Ok Selsby need some more info here are the lyrics "your one in a million no cure for my addiction I can't get enough of you" if so its an Australian group you are looking for around 1990, 91 they had three hits I think before they dropped off the radar
Eddie: This is the sword that killed Abraham Lincoln.
Cade: Lincoln was shot.
Eddie: That's what they told you.
Eddie: Paranoia is not a contagious condition, it's a way of life.
Joshua: You're their last hope for survival, yet they salivate for the taste of your blood.
Eddie: Sometimes madmen turn out to be prophets.
Joshua: Last time we met I let you live. Don't make me regret that decision.

Thanks loads Selsby now I can't get the damn song out of my head and I'm digging deep to remember the band, however remembering the hot blonde in the chainmail shirt walking down the stairs as she sings the lyrics is, oddly enough quite easy to recall :)

Well watched Underworld, what did I think? Movie good decent plot, good pacing, interesting storyline.
Problems with the movie. The two principle characters have to my perspective absolutely no chemistry on screen also why the hell do all the werewolves look like naked mole rats???? What, is it cheaper on the special effects department not have fur on their Crinos forms?
but in spite of all that I still enjoyed the film a great deal and would recommend it to anyone

You are Architecture.
You are the most functional art form and rarely do

Everything old is new again my youngest is getting into Transformers in a big way. So I decided to actually introduce him to something in that vein that at least was half way decent. Anyone had the unfortunate experience to watch Transformers Armada. I know Lowman has :). So hes been watching Beast Wars. In this frame of mind.
New packaging, same product, Losers. Megatron standing over the bodies of Rattrap and Cheetor

Sounds like an ok plan I'll mention it to them however if you are hoping for sparks it better be towards Kellie as Jeneene is going to China for 12 months in a week and a half.
Also I'm sure the ladies would be happy to attend, I however shall be unable too seeing as how I'm working at the hick festival all next week and the only day off is..... you guessed it, it will be Sunday. I'll talk to Jeneene tomorrow and see what she thinks about it. I'll also with your permission give them your mobile number so they can get in touch with you.

Working again tonite rather be doing anything but, hell a root canal would almost be preferable at this point, drinking a few glasses of decent red would be preferable. Back from a somewhat impromptu holiday around Crescent Head was nice sun, beach and sand sort of reminded me of all the holidays my family used to take at the end of the year feel slightly re charged now that I'm back ready to face another year of the grinding pace I've set for myself, wonder how many others have trodden this path I'm walking. I know I'm the first in my family to do it in this manner.

THE DIARY OF A TOWNSVILLE SUMMER....................
Written after moving from Sydney to Townsville.
August 31st: Just got transferred with work into our new home in Townsville!! Now this is a city that knows how to live!! Beautiful sunny days and warm balmy evenings. What a place! I watched the sunset from a deck chair on the verandah. It was beautiful. I've finally found my home. I love it here.
September 13th: Really heating up. Got to 35 today. Not a problem. Live in an air-conditioned home, drive an air-conditioned car. What a pleasure to see the sun everyday like this. I'm turning into a sun worshipper.
September 30th: Had the backyard landscaped with tropical plants today. Lots of palms and rocks. What a breeze to maintain. No more mowing lawn for me. Another scorcher today, but I love it here.
October 10th: The temperature hasn't been below 30 all week. How do people get used to this kind of heat? At least today it's kind of windy though. But getting used to the heat and humidity is taking longer that I expected.
October 15th: Fell asleep by the pool. (Got 3rd degree burns over 60% of my body. Missed 3 days of work. What a dumb thing to do. I learned my lesson though. Got to respect the ol' sun in a climate like this.
October 20th: I missed Kitty (our cat) sneaking into the car when I left this morning. By the time I got to the hot car for lunch, Kitty had died and swollen up to the size of a shopping bag and stank up the $3,000 leather upholstery. I told the kids that she ran away. The car now smells like Wiskettes and cat shi !t . I learned my lesson though. No more pets in this heat.
October 25th: The wind sucks. It feels like a giant bloody blow dryer!! And it's hot as hell. The home air-conditioner is on the blink and the AC repairman charged $200 just to drive over and tell me he needed to order parts.
October 30th: Been sleeping outside by the pool for 3 nights now. Bloody $450,000 house and we can't even go inside. Why did I ever come here?
November 4th: It's 35 degrees. Finally got the ol' air-conditioner fixed today. It cost $500 and gets the temperature down to 25, but this bloody humidity makes the house feel like it's about 30. Stupid repairman. I hate this stupid place.
November 8th: If another wise arse cracks, "Hot enough for you today?" I'm going to strangle him. Bloody heat. By the time I get to work the car's radiator was boiling over, my clothes are soaking wet, and I smell like baked cat!!
November 9th: Tried to run some messages after work. Wore shorts, and sat on the black leather seats in the ol' car. I thought my arse was on fire. I lost 2 layers of flesh and all the hair on the back of my legs and my arse. Now my car smells like burnt hair, fried arse, and baked cat,
November 10th: The weather report might as well be a bloody recording. Hot and sunny. Hot and sunny. Hot and sunny. It's been too hot to do anything for 2 damn months and the weatherman says it might really warm up next week. Doesn't it ever rain in this damn place? Water rationing will be next, so my $2,000 worth of palms just might dry up and blow into the bloody pool. Even the palms can't live in this heat.
November 14th: Welcome to HELL!!! Temperature got to 38 today. Now the air-conditioner's gone in my car. The repairman came to fix it and said, "Hot enough for you today?" My wife had to spend the $2,500 house payment to bail my arse out of jail for assaulting the repairman.
Bloody Townsville . What kind of a sick demented idiot would want to live here?

You are Form 0, Phoenix: The Eternal.
"And The Phoenix's cycle had reached
zenith, so he consumed himself in fire. He
emerged from his own ashes, to be forever
immortal."
Some examples of the Phoenix Form are Quetzalcoatl
(Aztec), Shiva (Indian), and Ra-Atum
(Egyptian).
The Phoenix is associated with the concept of life,
the number 0, and the element of fire.
His sign is the eclipsed sun.
As a member of Form 0, you are a determined
individual. You tend to keep your sense of
optomism, even through tough times and have a
positive outlook on most situations. You have
a way of looking at going through life as a
journey that you can constantly learn from.
Phoenixes are the best friends to have because
they cheer people up easily.

Your element is Earth. I hate to say it but you are
down to earth. Stubborn and loyal. You tend to
want to nurture others and you are the one
person friends always come to for awnsers.
Without people like you others would be flying
over the edge because, whether you know it or
not you keep a steady beat to your life and
will end up where you want to in the end. There
is a sureness about you that is hard to match
that draws people to you. No matter what
happens the Earth keeps turning.

Greyice I watched The meaning of life on DVD this evening and it turns out I was wrong its not Terry Gilliam who plays Death it was John Cleese as you first thought.
Tested myself yesterday, then a phone call from one of my nearest and dearest friends. She doesn't have the internet on. Yes I'm shocked as well but she knows how much shes valued. Thanks Ang for telling me not to be such a fucking idiot. Its always a good feeling to know you have good friends like that who will tell you what you need to hear and not want you want to hear
